Six years ago, when Payday first started, we published only one newsletter a week. During the pandemic, we started publishing 2-3 newsletters a week. Now, we want to expand to publishing at least five newsletters a week, including one about international labor news.

However, expanding the newsletter means hiring more part-time help at $32/hour to edit and help research the newsletter. So, we need your donations to do it.

Our newsletter and Strike Tracker have proven to be a huge hit and have had a big impact on the way that labor is covered in this country.

Payday Report’s Strike Tracker has tracked more than 2,000 strikes since March of 2020. It has been cited on the front page of The Washington Post, featured on NPR’s All Things Considered Labor Day broadcast, and profiled on PBS American Portraits

Esquire described our work as “invaluable,” The New York Times called us a publication with “new energy,” and last year our work on CNN’s United Shades of America was nominated for an Emmy

Donate to help us expand the newsletter.
