Senator Bernie Sanders didn’t do as well as he hoped in South Carolina, placing second, about 20 points behind former Vice President Joe Biden.
But the crowd at Finlay Park in Columbia, South Carolina was just happy to get to see Sanders in the flesh. The fact that he was joined by Danny Glover, Killer Mike, Nina Turner and many more was just icing on the cake.
Keeping the crowd moving in the brisk February weather was Blackillac, an Austin based hip hop group.
.@blackillac were incredible and hyped up the crowd for the speeches to come at the rally in Finlay Park earlier today.

Actor and activist Danny Glover followed Gus Newport, Mayor of Berkeley, California (1979–1986).
The Mayor of Jackson, Mississippi @ChokweALumumba just endorsed @BernieSanders and spoke on being called a “radical.”
