Folks,
Today, marks the 132nd anniversary of the Battle of Homestead, when 7 strikers were killed at the US Steel's Homestead plant in 1892. Ultimately, the town rose up and forced the Pinkerton's to surrender.
In 2020, I toured the Battle of Homestead site with Empathy Media Labs and the much, more massive museums dedicated to the men, who ordered the killings at Homestead. The video raises interesting questions about who writes history.
Too much of labor history is being erased and its important that we remember it as we need it to inspire us doing these tough times ahead. I hope everyone takes a few minutes to watch here.
