Folks,
Yesterday, Vice Kamala Harris gave closing remarks at a rally in the old Carrie Furnace, an abandoned steel mill that has been converted into a museum and art space.
Payday Report got VIP access, recording only 30 yards from the stage.
"We will win because when you know what you stand for, you know what to fight for. And we have an opportunity in this election to finally turn the page on a decade of politics driven by fear and division," Kamala told the crowd. "We are done with that. We're done. We're exhausted with it. And Pittsburgh, we are not going back".
The scene was electric as over 10,000 people shouted, "We're not going back, we're not going back."
Check out the highlights of the speech here. (The camera work of Fernando Calvacanti is a real compliment for Payday Report)
We will have more thoughts and videos from rally attendees. Sorry not to get them out, but after spending 8 hours in the cold yesterday waiting for Kamala, whose plane was delayed, I was too exhausted to donate.
Donate to help us get our final stories today.
Thanks again for all the support.
