Polls: Pennsylvania Race Tied - Turnout LIkely to Determine the Election
In Pennsylvania, the polls appear to be extremely close.
According to a RealClear Politics Analysis, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are separated by an average of 0.6%. In an interview earlier this week, Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Ausitn Davis said that the race would likely be decided by 0.5% either way (tracking with current polling).
At this point, it appears as if the race has come down entirely to the ground game.
The Kamala Harris ground game is intense with over 400 field organizers on the ground in Pennsylvania.
Meanwhile, Trump has outsourced his ground game entirely to Elon Musk’s Super PAC America. Key GOP counties like Westmoreland County, which has a population of 350,000, went for Trump by a margin of 64%-35% in 2020.
However, neither the Trump campaign or any of their Super PACs have a field office in Westmoreland. By all accounts, it seems like Pennsylvania will come down to whoever can turn out the most votes.

Boeing & Machinists Reach Contract
As Payday went to press, Boeing and the Machinists reached a contract to resolve a nearly 7 week long strike. Previously, union members had voted on and rejected a contract offer.
But, this is the first tentative agreement that the union leadership has recommended.
“Your Union is endorsing and recommending the latest IAM/Boeing Contract Proposal. It is time for our Members to lock in these gains and confidently declare victory,” wrote union leaders in a statement to their 33,000 union members.
The contract includes a 43% raise over the course of the contract. For agreeing to the contract, union members will receive a $12,000 ratification bonus.
Watch: Secretary of Labor Says Boeing & Union on Path to Union Contract
With the assistance of US Labor Secretary Julie Su acting as a mediator, the Biden Administration has been helping to negotiate the contract. With the Biden-Harris team campaigning on their record of helping unions, winning a good union contract at Boeing a few days before the election, could help Democrats appear to be pro-union.
Following remarks in Pittsburgh about workforce inclusion, Julie Su highlighted how the Biden-Harris team will brag about the contract.
“It's been a privilege to come in there on behalf of the President and the Vice President and say that we believe that contracts should benefit workers,” says Su.

Union Members Breaking for Kamala 47%-36%
A new poll by Reuters shows that Kamala is leading by a margin of 47%-36% among union members. While a solid lead, Biden in 2020 won union members by a margin of 56%-40%.
Union leaders told Reuters that they are worried that union members will not turn up to vote in ways that they have in the past.
"Let's be honest, there are people who look at a female candidate and at face value dismiss her because, you know, she's perceived as not being presidential," AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler told Reuters. "No one questions Donald Trump in that way."
