Port Canaveral ILA members  shut down port for an hour of peaceful protest

Leaders of the International Longshoremen’s Association, AFL-CIO (ILA) and United States Maritime Alliance, Ltd. (USMX), announced today that longshore labor and waterfront employers will honor the death of George Floyd with a “peaceful protest hour” at all ports from Maine to Texas on this Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 12 noon to 1 pm
