Steven Greenhouse Talks How Trump's Tarriffs May Appeal to Working Class Voters, But May Hurt Them

In the latest Payday Report podcast, retired New York Times labor reporter Steven Greenhouse talks about how Clinton pushing NAFTA bred distrust of the Democratic Party in the Rust Belt.

Greenhouse and Elk also discussed how Trump's tarrifs may appeal to some working-class votes. At the same time, Greenhouse says that many workers may be hurt by the tarrifs, which Kamala Harris has framed as amounting to a $4,000-a-year national tax.

Greenhouse gives a historical overview of the complexities of trade deals and who they benefit.
