Folks,
In the past month, Payday Report has published 25 articles and I am exhausted. I’d love to take some time off for the holidays, but these past few weeks, Payday Report has been in a fundraising drought.
With many people offline during the holidays, it will be tough for Payday to raise money over the holidays so we really need your help to pay bills and allow me to take four days off from labor reporting/fundraising.
When we get back, we will have a lot of big stories to cover. Chattanooga Volkswagen workers voted to authorize a strike. After 12 years of covering them, I am super excited to cover this battle. (See our story "Following Strike Vote, Volkswagen Chattanooga Workers Build Momentum")
This month, we wrote about how frivolous lawfare tactics caused the UAW to pay three Zionist union members $315,000. We plan to do an in depth look at how Zionists are using costly lawfare tactics to try to dissuade unions from taking up Palestinian solidarity.
Finally, we are doing a HUGE event for the Pittsburgh premiere of the hit Brazilian film Secret Agent (more details on this to come). We have all this planned in addition to regular newsletters, breaking news, and other stories, so please spare a few bucks so we can rest up.
Love & Solidarity,
Melk
