Fundraising Goal Surpassed – Help Us Get to $600/month!

At the beginning of this month, we gave ourselves a goal of bringing in 10 additional dues-paying readers. With less than a day to go, we’ve reached 13! In all, our supporters are contributing $576/month to our efforts to report on the labor movement in the South.

Will you be #14, #15, or #16 this month?

Can you help us break the $600 mark and join your fellow readers who are helping us to provide this much-needed coverage of people who are trying to improve their working conditions? Yes, you say? Please go here to contribute.

In the past month, we’ve not only grown in dues-paying readers, but in our pageviews as well. Last month, we had just over 3,000 pageviews. This month, nearly 8,000.

On the social media front, we’ve just about doubled our presence. If you haven’t already done so, you can follow us on Twitter here and like our page on Facebook here. And please encourage your friends to as well.

We are just getting started and your support can take Payday to even greater heights. We are working on big stories about the movement for municipal broadband in the South, the disability self-advocacy movement, and the ugly Sherwin Alumina lockout in Texas.

Thank you for all of the support you’ve been showing us!
